2007 - Verwood'
Christmas Extravaganza Pictures
Father Christmas visited
his Grotto on Ferrett Green on the 15th of December
2007. The Mayor of Verwood with the help of
Cinderella switched on Verwood's lights. The Verwood
Training Band played and carols were sung around the
tree.
There was mulled wine or hot coffee and Mince
Pies in the Heritage Centre plus other food supplied
by Verwood Scouts and the Carnival Committee stalls.
The Recycling Group and the Twinning Committee also
had stalls while there were Steam Train rides and a
roundabout for the children, in addition to their
visit to see Santa in his Grotto.
