Markets in Verwood


 Regular Farmers market are held on Ferrett Green on the 4th Saturday every month.         

 Country Markets are every Friday in the Verwood Memorial Hall from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

 

Local Markets List

 Ringwood - Regular market every Wednesday morning.

 Ringwood - Occasional farmers market - (next on the 11th of Oct. 2008).
 Verwood - Regular Farmers market held on Ferrett Green - 4th Saturday each month.

 Verwood - Country Markets are every Friday morning in the Verwood Memorial Hall.  

 Wimborne - Regular Farmers market held in Mill Lane - 2nd Saturday each month.

 Wimborne - Country Markets are every Friday morning in the Allendale Centre.    

 

Moors Valley Country Park & Forest
Horton Road, Ashley Heath, Nr Ringwood.Verwood Health Walks now take place from the Verwood Heritage Centre every Tuesday and from the HUB on Friday at 09:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. start. These walks are organised and lead by rangers of East Dorset Country Management Services (Moors Valley) or volunteers and are FREE though you will be required to wear suitable clothing and register. Verwood Heathland Heritage Centre
Potting is regularly available  and FREE for all those under the age of 19 years.
Please note that a £2 deposit is required when booking. (Refunded on glazing of pot)
   Note that adults are also welcome to do potting  
 - includes glazing and firing, as follows. 
 Cost 
A Pinch Pot will take 20 minutes to make.   £3  
A Slab Pot will take 40 minutes to make.  £5 
A Tile will take 20 minutes to make.  £3
